Donation to Art & Sowell Fund
The Donald P. Endowment Committee (SEC) was established in honor of the late Donald P. Sowell, a renowned Cincinnati artist and art educator, 30 years ago this year! As we celebrate the 30th anniversary, we would like to remind everyone about the SEC's mission is to encourage and increase the African American community's involvement with the Cincinnati Art Museum. In celebration of our milestone, we have a goal to raise $30,000, which will be split equally between our two high-impact investment areas. A $15,000 donation will fund the Sowell internship program for the next five years, providing many students with the opportunity to gain invaluable experience working for one of the region's premier art institutions. Additionally, a $15,000 investment in art purchases will encourage the museum to acquire even more works by African American artists. We invite you to join us in celebrating this momentous occasion by supporting our cause. If you share our mission to draw the African American community to the museum and promote diversity within the Cincinnati Art Museum, please consider donating to the SEC's Art & Sowell fund. One-time gifts can be made, or you are welcome to break your donation into monthly payments over the next 24 months.
