Blooming Art, an Ikebana Interpretation

Beth Bowers-Klaine, a 2nd Degree Master in the Ohara School of Ikebana will demonstrate a range of ikebana designs from simple to more complex.  She will show how the introduction of Western floral materials and changes in lifestyle have influenced the traditional Japanese art of ikebana. Meet in the Castellini Room (ground level). Capacity is limited.

 

$35, includes lunch and ticket to Art in Bloom (May 13–15). Reservations required.
