Gain candid insight into career pathways, teaching realities, and practical strategies for launching your career in education. Enjoy dinner and connect with practicing teachers from local schools and cultural organizations as they share advice on interviewing, classroom management, and navigating the early years of teaching. The spring session will feature a keynote and hands-on artmaking workshop with Ohio Arts Education Association Teacher of the Year Jamie Schorsch, who will share lessons from her career as an educator, artist, and Fulbright Teacher for Global Classrooms.
About Evenings for Future Educators:
A museum-based professional learning series designed to connect future educators, creative professionals, and higher education partners through shared exploration and community building. Held once each fall and spring semester, these workshops bring together pre-service teachers, fine arts and studio majors, early-career educators, higher-education faculty and staff, and community-based education professionals. Participants explore how the museum can serve as a resource for teaching, learning, creativity, and professional growth. Guests are encouraged to build cross-disciplinary connections and engage with peers from colleges and universities throughout the region.
