This inclusive program will be a multisensorial gallery discussion followed by an art making experience that features connections between sight, sound, smell, touch and sometimes taste. Facilitation of this program is provided by a new partnership with Art Equals. This organization fosters community-driven, accessible opportunities for creative growth and healing. At each program, visitors will encounter a few select works of art and explore each one using multiple senses. Facilitators will introduce the artwork through detailed description, music, movement, smells, and tactiles. After exploring these works of art in the galleries, the facilitator will lead the group to the classroom for a tactile, all-ability art-making experience related to the day’s gallery.
