Women’s Committee April Program

We invite you to join us on Monday, April 22, 2024, for a presentation from Julie Aronson, PhD, Curator of American Paintings, Sculpture & Drawings, regarding the Cincinnati Art Museum’s latest exhibition, Whitfield Lovell: Passages. Following the presentation, we will enjoy lunch in the Terrace Café.

Whitfield Lovell: Passages urges viewers to contemplate the ordinary lives and extraordinary journeys of the African American experience, while raising universal questions about identity, memory, and America’s collective heritage. More than 80 evocative multisensory installations, conté crayon drawings, and assemblages comprise this most comprehensive exhibition of the artist’s work to date.

  • 10:30 a.m. Coffee social
  • 11 a.m. Program in Gallery 105
  • Noon. Lunch in the Terrace Café
  • 12-2 p.m. Whitfield Lovell: Passages open to view

Attendees may enter through the lobby of the museum.

Both entrees will be served with a fruit dish and dessert.
