Women’s Committee January Program
Monday, January 27, 10:30 a.m.–1 p.m.
Join us on Monday, January 27, 2025, as we kick off the new year with a presentation by Kristin Spangenberg, Curator of Prints, to learn more about the museum’s special exhibition, George Bellows: American Life in Print. Before the lecture, enjoy lunch with us in the Terrace Café.
George Bellows (American, 1882–1925) captured the spirit and character of American life during the early twentieth century in paintings, illustrations, and prints. Bellows executed more than 190 prints during his career, almost single-handedly elevating lithography to a fine art in the United States.
