This program is open to teachers of all grade levels and disciplines, homeschool teachers, art advocates, pre-service education majors, teaching artists, and community/museum educators. It explores object-based learning strategies and STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, Math) connections that can be adapted for classrooms with students of all ages. Each summer features a different theme. Activities include hands-on art-making facilitated by peers and local artists, presentations from the curatorial team on their expertise and museum careers, and workshops on engaging with objects used in creative practice.
